RESHAPING THE DELIVERY CARE MODEL:

By integrating intensive care and hospitalist care under one group, we are redefining the delivery care model. This is best evidenced in the intermediate critical care unit, where intensivists, hospitalists and APPs all work together under one team to effectively triage, manage, and transition patients.

"This is a unique integrated delivery model, rapidly pooling resources together from intensivists, hospitalists and APPs.  Ensuring the very best care can be provided to our patients, in a exceptionally efficient manner that saves lives, reduces unnecessary resources, and improves length of stay."

- Chad Applegate - DOO ICCU

"Having the critical care team in both the ICU and ICCU has been a great addition to our Medical Center, enhancing throughput and resulting in both improved care and communication for patients, families, staff and providers"

-Jon Knudson - Director of Renal, Oncology and Critical Care Services
